To celebrate the Simpsons reuniting with Butterfinger, we created an out-of-home campaign (in NYC and LA) around the ultimate crime - laying a finger on Bart's Butterfinger.

Somebody laid a finger on Bart Simpson’s Butterfinger. With twelve potential suspects from all around Springfield, fans were invited to help solve “the crispety, crunchety crime of the century” in an online instant win game.

The culprit was revealed. Milhouse stole Bart's BUTTERFINGER! We congratulated all who followed the clues and found the culprit.
Having tried everything else to earn Lisa's affection, Milhouse thought she may go for a bad boy. After proving allergic to a rub-on tattoo, stealing a BUTTERFINGER from his best friend's treehouse was his last hope.
